Visit Nepal
Nepal has been recommended as one of the top 50 places you must visit in your lifetime. Having been there myself, I can agree. It is one of the most spectacular, unspoilt countries in the world.
2011 is Nepal Tourism Year and the country is expected to attract a substantial number of visitors, both new and returning visitors to a country that is fantastic to spend time in.
Nepal offers many types of adventure, whether your passion is Trekking, Mountaineering, Water Rafting, visiting UNESCO World Heritage sites or spending time in Nepal during one of the several spectacular festivals.
If you are keen to visit one of the orphanages supported by Sunrise Kids Nepal, we can organise a Coordinated Orphanage Visit through our Nepali Representative. Mr Dipendra Dhakal, Managing Director of Travel De Society
in Kathmandu.
There is no charge of organising an official visit, although donations are very welcome. For safety and security reasons, Dipendra will kindly request a copy of your passport. Finally, please don’t bring too many sweets as dental care
is not as accessible in Nepal.

We advise you to organise your own comprehensive travel insurance and consult your doctor about any vaccinations that you may require before travelling to Nepal. While much of Nepal is Malaria free, some regions do have problems with Malaria. Please also be aware that Swine Flu and Avian Influenza may be prevalent in certain areas.
You can check with your national Embassy online for travel advice and consular assistance available. For British Nationals, you can check online at the British Embassy.
